SaaS Product & Platform Consulting

Building or scaling a SaaS product? Need help with features, the platform itself, Azure architecture, SaaS infrastructure, or testing? That’s what we do best — hands-on, from the first design decision through production.

Consulting for SaaS Products and Platforms

We sit with your team as a senior engineer and architect — shipping features, shaping the platform, and making the infrastructure production-ready. Not a slide deck. Real delivery.

End-to-end
From idea to production
Azure
Cloud architecture
Hands-on
Code, infra & tests
SaaS
Multi-tenant platforms
Feature development that ships — APIs, UI, billing, tenancy, integrations
Platform development: the product backbone, not just a single screen
Azure architecture that scales, stays secure, and stays cost-aware
SaaS infrastructure: environments, identity, tenancy, CI/CD, observability
Testing you can trust — automated, in the pipeline, covering the paths that matter
Senior pairing with your team — or we own a workstream outright

Feature Development

You know what customers need next. We help you design it, build it, and get it into production without stalling the rest of the roadmap.

Ship the next slice of the product

Founders and product teams often have a clear backlog and a thin engineering bench. We join as a senior pair: scoping the feature, choosing the right seams in the existing codebase, writing the services and UI, and leaving the change in a state your team can own.

Typical work includes authentication and tenant isolation, APIs and event-driven workflows, billing and entitlements, admin consoles, customer-facing portals, and integrations with Microsoft 365, Azure, or third-party SaaS. We work in .NET, Python, TypeScript, and Azure-native services — matching the stack you already run rather than forcing a rewrite.

  • New product capabilities and MVP slices
  • API design, versioning, and integrations
  • Multi-tenant data models and isolation
  • Billing, roles, and entitlement flows

Platform Development

A SaaS product is more than features. The platform is how you onboard tenants, deploy safely, observe production, and keep the product maintainable as it grows.

The backbone your product runs on

We have built and modernised SaaS platforms end-to-end — from a HIPAA healthcare product migrated AWS to Azure, to a multi-tenant ISV on .NET 8 with zero-downtime slot swaps, to products we own such as Service365 and Config365.

That means we treat the platform as a product: shared services, tenancy, identity, background jobs, configuration, and the operational story (how you deploy, roll back, and debug). If you are stuck between a prototype and something you can sell with confidence, this is the work that closes the gap.

  • Greenfield platform design and first production cut
  • Modernisation of existing SaaS codebases
  • Shared services, jobs, and internal APIs
  • White-label and multi-tenant ISV patterns

Azure Architecture & SaaS Infrastructure

Infrastructure for a SaaS product is different from a corporate IT estate. Tenants, environments, secrets, cost, and blast radius all have to be designed in from the start.

Architecture that will still make sense in two years

We design and implement Azure landing zones for products: App Service or Container Apps, SQL and Cosmos, Service Bus and Functions, Key Vault, Entra ID for customer and operator identity, private networking where it matters, and governance so environments stay consistent.

SaaS infrastructure covers the operational layer around that architecture — dev / test / staging / production, infrastructure as code, CI/CD with health checks and rollback, logging and tracing, cost controls, and the security baseline (managed identities, least privilege, secrets never in source). We have run this for regulated products and for lean startups; the principles are the same, the controls scale with risk.

  • Azure architecture reviews and target designs
  • Infrastructure as code (Bicep, Terraform, pipelines)
  • Environments, slots, and zero-downtime deploys
  • Identity, tenancy, networking, and cost governance

Testing

A SaaS product that cannot be safely changed is already in trouble. We put tests where they pay for themselves — in the pipeline, on the paths customers actually use.

Confidence to ship, not a theatre of coverage

We add automated tests around the contracts that matter: APIs, tenancy isolation, auth, billing edges, and the workflows that lose money or trust if they break. Unit tests where logic is dense; integration tests against real Azure resources or test doubles where that is faster; smoke tests after every deploy.

If you have no pipeline today, we build one. If you have a pipeline that is slow or flaky, we fix the signal so the team actually trusts it. Testing is part of delivery, not a separate phase after the feature is “done.”

  • Test strategy for new and existing SaaS products
  • CI gates: unit, integration, and smoke tests
  • Contract tests for APIs and integrations
  • Health checks, rollback, and production verification

How We Work With Product Teams

Same senior owner either way. You choose the shape of the engagement.

Embedded consulting

We join your standup, pick up tickets, review architecture, and unblock the team. Useful when you have engineers in place and need senior depth on features, Azure, or test strategy.

Owned delivery

You define the outcome; we design, build, test, and hand over. Useful for a platform slice, a migration, or a first production environment when you do not want to hire a full team yet.
